All three words in the name of this movement are significant: we are churches, working in partnership with other agencies, but doing so together; we know that we have a special responsibility for the welfare of the people of Sheffield: this is our city; and we are ‘for’ Sheffield — in the spirit of Jeremiah 29.7, we seek its prosperity and we pray for it.
