About Us

Together for Sheffield – that sums up the aim beautifully. It’s so simple, yet there is much work needed to make more of us live by that

Nancy Fielder, Editor, Sheffield Telegraph

Can our sum be greater than our parts?

Like the diversity of small boats that sailed to Dunkirk with the common aim of rescuing stranded soldiers, if we work together toward a common aim we can make an impact far beyond our individual size or capacity. Together we can harness the strength of our respective groups to serve every sector in our city.

Our Aim

We exist to help make Sheffield a better place and to support others who have the same desire. We are inspired by the founder of the largest social movement in history; Jesus of Nazareth.

Our Hope

To encourage greater levels of collaboration and sacrificial love towards one another, as exemplified by Jesus.

“I know men and I tell you that Jesus Christ is no mere man. Between Him and every other person in the world there is no possible term of comparison. Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I have founded empires. But on what did we rest the creation of our genius? Upon force. Jesus Christ founded His empire upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for Him.”
